ABOUT ME

I just turned 24. I am currently working as an Anuban teacher (kindergarten teacher) in Bangkok, Thailand. I graduated from University in May of 2010 and I had the opportunity to go over seas and try something completely out of my element. I jumped at the chance; here I am. During my off time, I have had time to travel all around Thailand. I have truly fallen in love with this country. The culture, the food, the people and so much more. Moving here has been the best decision of my life. It has opened my eyes to a whole new world I never knew existed. I meet people from all over the world here and now I can honestly say I am not sure when I want to return to the USA. I want to keep travelling for as long as I can and learn as much as I can... There is a stereotype that Americans are not cultured, I do not intend on falling into that category.

If anyone is traveling through the Bangkok area, I would be more than happy to meet up for coffee or drinks and show them aorund the city (apart from Khao San Road!). This city has a lot to offer, and I myself am still discovering new things everyday.

Interests

I love reading, eating good food, sleeping, relaxing, spending time with family and friends.
I enjoy going out to bars, dancing, the whole night life scene. But i also like to chill out and have have intimate conversations with a small group of people.
I enjoy it all. I am usually up for anything, whether it is going out or staying in.
I am currently looking for places to volunteer at on the weekends. I need a change from my usual weekend routine.
