About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A drinking guy with a running problem

ABOUT ME

I'm currently enrolled on a business program created by the EU to study and work in Seoul. I lived here in the past but many things changed since then so I am excited to discover more of Korea, improve the language and meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

As Groucho Marxs said "Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others".

Well, not really. I do have my principles, but I am open minded and don't care if someone thinks different than me. Actually, when I meet someone I want to have a common ground, but also differ in other things. I want to test my principles!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I realized that, as you get older in life, the scope of people you meet gets more and more narrow. One usually tends to spend time with people professionally related, old time friends or new friends with shared interests.

The magic of Couchsurfing is that it lets you open your horizons to people with extremely different lifestyles and paths in their life. People that you won't find in your daily life and that may challenge somehow your established goals in life.

Interests

I love running. For me it's not only a sport but a lifestyle. Swimming too, but not great at it.

I love music, books and movies. I am also interested in art, although I am not an expert.

I am very interested in Technology, not only in gadgets and programs, but also on the cultural effect of technology.

I like traveling, why else would I be here?

And I also like languages. I am trying to improve my Korean, but I am also interested in techniques or general methods to learn a language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finishing a marathon. The remarkable thing is I trained for months it with my tracking device set incorrectly. The first kilometer of the race I realized there was a 30% difference, so I was not prepared at all. I finished after almost 5 hours and had to rest for 2 days, but I did it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish.
I am interested in Korean language and finding a running buddy.
