Hi, I'm Amy. My family and I love to host females and families visiting or traveling through Austin. There are 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs and 2 cats in our home. We do not live downtown but if you have a car you can reach the city center in 30 minutes.

ABOUT ME

I work as a science teacher now after having stayed home with my kids. My life has changed and my travels have slowed down since I've started my family. But I'm starting to pick that back up finally!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love to host families or people from other cultures. It's fun and helps to give my kids some world experience. I had a great experience every time I surfed myself, mostly a few countries in Europe. We are currently only accepting families with young children or women surfers.

兴趣

I love my animals! Especially my dog. I never even knew I was a dog person until my sister brought one home one day. A few months later I fell in love, and when she moved out, I got one of my own. I also have two cats.

I also love physical anthropology, what I went back to grad school for. I teach science.

I want to travel all over the world and see everything! I want to see castles and forests and cities and anything else that draws people to travel. Experience other cultures, speak other languages, enjoy what there is to see. I love being someplace I've never been.

I lived in Europe for 7 months, which is amazing to me as an American. I miss this time in my life very much and I can't wait for the opportunity to do it again.
