I’m currently on a working holiday in Canada and working as an aurora tour guide in Yellowknife (yes, chasing the Northern Lights every night ✨).
Sadly, I can’t host anyone while I’m away from home, but I’d love to meet new friends, share stories, and explore more of this beautiful country!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I joined Couchsurfing because I love the idea of connecting with people from all over the world, not just visiting a place, but really experiencing it through the people who live there.
I want to discover things I’ve never seen or tried, share stories, and learn about different ways of life. ✨
Every person I meet adds a new color to my journey, and I hope I can do the same for others too.
Since this is my first working holiday in Canada (and my first time seeing the Northern Lights! 💫), I’d love to keep meeting kind, open-minded people and make more little memories along the way. 💕

Interessen

I’m a big fan of good food, not only eating it but also cooking it myself! 🍳
I love reading all kinds of stories, novels, comics, picture books… and it would be amazing if you could share some local fairy tales from your town or your travels that I’ve never heard before. 📚✨
I also enjoy watching movies, mostly comedies, but I sometimes challenge myself with horror films (definitely not alone, though 😆).
And of course… I absolutely love being out in nature! Mountains, lakes, forests — count me in! 🌲🌊🌼

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I really enjoy meaningful stories, especially ones that make me think (or cry a little 🥹).
One of my favorite films is Secretly, Greatly, a Korean movie about North Korean spies who secretly live in South Korea, it’s funny, touching, and heartbreaking all at once.
Another one is Man and Woman, also from Korea, a beautifully sad love story about an unspeakable relationship.

For books, I love The Graver Robbers’ Chronicles, a Chinese suspense novel that follows a rather unlucky guy who ends up on mysterious adventures with the last heir of an ancient family.

And when it comes to music, Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel! I absolutely love its melody… though I have no idea how to dance to it hahah 💃😆

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was 18, I took my very first solo backpacking trip, to Japan! 🇯🇵
I traveled around for 21 days with just my backpack and curiosity, getting lost (a lot 😂) but also finding so many kind people along the way.

Later, I went hitchhiking across Great Britain for 3 months, meeting amazing strangers who soon became friends. Then I spent another 3 months exploring different corners of the Schengen area, and every ride, every place, every story was unforgettable. 🚗✨

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I love sharing travel stories, from the time I backpacked alone in Japan at 18, to hitchhiking across Great Britain and wandering around Europe for months. 🚗🌍
If you like listening, I can tell you all the funny (and sometimes weird) things that happened on the road!

I also enjoy cooking Asian dishes, so maybe I can make you a simple Taiwanese meal while we chat about different cultures. 🍜💬
