COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing renewed my faith in humanity. Really.
I've met people who made my travels unforgettable. I even met one wonderful friend who not only gave me a place to sleep and introduced me to several new friends, but also listened to me and comforted me when things got hard.

Interests

I love learning foreign languages and experiencing other cultures (especially the food)! I really enjoy finding authentic international restaurants and food I've never heard of. I also enjoy reading, painting, crafting, camping, and mountain biking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I went SCUBA diving in Mexico! At first, it was strange breathing underwater, but when I started to notice the fish and how beautiful the reef was, it was more natural. I saw colors that day that I didn't know existed in nature.

Climbing the Great Wall of China was also beautiful. I don't think I have ever been able to see so far in every direction. The beauty was worth the effort!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning. Every day I learn something new. I also love to teach! Everything from languages to knitting! "But if you walk in the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew you never knew."
