I've heard a lot about Couchsurfing and have gone to quite a few meetups in different countries but I have never had the guts to actually try it out. I firmly believe the best part of traveling is the people so I'm hoping Couchsurfing will give me the opportunity to meet some awesome people.

My all time favorite artist is Bob Marley because he taught me the power of music with the soul and emotion he gives. I also really love Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, J Cole, Frank Ocean, and Beyoncé to name a few.

Currently reading number 3 out of 6 of Maya Angelou's autobiographies. Hoping to complete them by the end of this year as everything she writes is gold.

When I'm in Texas, I work for my mom who is a Chef so I have a few years culinary experience if you'd like to learn how to make some delicious Tex-Méx with the ingredients offered in your area.
Also, I can share my teaching and travel experiences, traveling as a solo black woman, I have a few stories to share!
