my name is Matthias, I'm 35 and live in Essen, North Rhine Westphalia. I grew up here so I know a lot about the city and its characteristics.

I'm new here, but don't be afraid of me ;-)

I have a little daughter, but unfortunately she doesn't live with me. But I have a cute pink room where she sleeps when she visits me ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet new people and show them around my city.
I'd like to get to know other cultures and improve my language skills.

Interests

I like playing drums (I have an electric drumkit in my kitchen, and that's the rehearsal room where I play with my band ;-) ), guitar and a little bit Synthesizer. So if you are a musician, we could jam a little bit ;-)

I like taking photos on analogue equipment.

I'm interested in sports and do calisthenics (at home, not a gym).

Other things I like are watching DVDs, listening to music, going out with friends, dancing Salsa, going to concerts...
And it is said I'm good at making pizza :-D
