ABOUT ME
What do I begin with ..?
Well, I'm working in biomedial, as a computer engineer, so that would probably qualify me as a nerd. But I totally assume my nerd status. :)
My usual hobbies are to read, to listen to music or to watch a good movie. What I read or listen to change from time to time depending the mood, what's going on in my life or how much sun there is outside.
I am kind of a shy person (that's probably part of the nerd status) but I like to meet new people. Don't worry if I don't speak much at first, it should wear out quickly.
What else... well I'm fresh out of idea, so just ask :)
PHILOSOPHY
Three part of crazyness, One part of cynism, 1/4 part of sarcasm. Add bacon to taste.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed with a friend in Amsterdam and in Belgium (Anvers and Bruxelles) in 2009, that's when I learned about couch surfing.
After that, I went to several CS meeting in Montreal and I hosted in my home city as well.
I travelled in Germany in 2012 (Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig) and met a lot of interesting CSurfers there. It really did help with my trip :)
It's not much yet I know, but you can help me improving that ;)
Interests
- Computer? No seriously, I am working in the biomedical domain and I am somewhat active on the open source movement.
- I like to read... anything and everything. Novel, sociology, stories, anything would do, as long as I enjoy it. And the bigger the book, the longer it last (so the longer I enjoy it).
- I'm not much of a sport person but I enjoy nature in general so activity like hiking or just walking around is something I enjoy. I like to walk a lot :)
- Somehow, I am attracted by weird stuff like sociology or psychology. I think university made permanent damage on my psyche but I dream about doing a master in one of those domain.
