ABOUT ME

I'm born and raised in North Seattle, although I did spend seven years of childhood in Japan as well (Japanese was my first language). Once I moved back though, I spent most of my life here, through uni, at local UW. I spent six months at the end of college living in Bangkok, and that started the itch to get out. Spent a year or so back, then joined the Peace Corps and went to Chengdu, China where I spent the last three years teaching English, and touring the region meeting all sorts of folks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now I travel, so I surf to meet/learn other folks and their communities. Once I have a permanent place to call my own, I'd like to get into some hosting though, and share my habitat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed while I was living in China, but only around where I was living with friends. Sooo, limited.

Interests

Anything and everything really. I dig the outdoors, including hiking in the woods at the top of the list. I like moving on a bike (both peddle and motor varieties), and staying active if I can. I also occasionally enjoy a good night out, and nothing more than a fine conversation with good people.
