About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figuring out what to do in life!
ABOUT ME
I'm loyal, relaxed, vain (I'm pretty anal about my makeup routine), optimistic and have a 'keen eye for esthetics'. I prefer a mental challenge over physical exercise. I'm very caring (I love pampering people with good food) and I dislike confrontation. I can get quite moody when I'm hungry. Also, I'm a slow walker. I think I come across as very easy-going and spontaneous, however, I do value my privacy and I don't easily share details of my personal life. I hope to come across as a classy, sophisticated young woman, but I definitely have a trashy side (I love kitsch and gaudy stuff). I want to be like Grace Kelly, but I end up wearing Nicki Minaj's leopard print leggings.
Interests
I enjoy the company of people who can teach me something new. I enjoy competitive quizzing, Asian food, bargain hunting and I believe everything in life gets better when you add fresh ground black pepper and some disco music to it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Disco (Beegees, Earth Wind and Fire,...) Michael Jackson, Tom Waits, Miyavi, all things K-pop, Eurodance, Rammstein, Luis Miguel.
Movies: I love action flicks (F&F, The Matrix), caper movies, fantasy/SF and indie comedies. I'm also a big wuss so I dislike horror. I Adore Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers collaborations. Favorite musical is Jesus Christ Superstar.
Books: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, 13 1/2 lives of captain Bluebear, The Woman who stayed in bed for a year, A spot of bother, Suicide rabbits... My favorite authors are probably PG. Wodehouse and Isaac Asimov. I love alternate universe/fantasy/SF and humorous works. I don't read a lot of non-fiction books but I spend a lot of time reading magazines that focus mostly on Politics and Science.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* Rome by night. The architecture is amazing and roaming those streets at night was one of the best things I've ever done.
* Flying terrifies me. Every time I have to get on a plane I'm so scared I want to make a beeline straight home. Yet I've managed to fly to the States twice in less than a year and flew all by myself (so no friendly hand to hold) a couple of months after that - for me, that's pretty amazing. The fear is still there, but at least it doesn't keep me grounded.
* Every time I've seen a work by Seurat or Signac. Pointillism is breathtaking in real life and has a huge impact on me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a certified masseuse, and I'm pretty good at it. I still have loads to learn when it comes to different techniques, but it's a skill I hope to develop over time.
