ABOUT ME

The first few years I mostly used Hospitalityclub to find a couch - so please see my profile (wieselflink) over there for comments etc.

Having found HC + CS seems to be a gift from heaven. Travelling with small money, making friends all over the globe, learn about the differences and all the things we have in common and getting involved in multicultural issues belongs to the great things of globalization. (Of course there are also bad aspects, but 'always look on the bright side of life...dumdidum' ;)
Right wing/ nazis never will imagine what they are missing!

I got a strong affinity to the Asian culture and way of living. My big passion are the martial arts and the arts of health promotion as Tai-Chi, Qigong, DaoYin etc. Also I love ancient Chinese philosophy, traditional Chinese medicine and so on.

On the other hand I lost my heart in Brasil with its 'jeitinho brasileiro'... I familiarized to much over there - visiting the country and south America from time to time...

I am loving languages, coz it's the only key to get real access to a culture, the nations mind and their way of thinking... As different the languages - as different the people (vice versa). And as Wittgestein used to say: „Die Grenzen meiner Sprache bedeuten die Grenzen meiner Welt“ - google for it ;)

If u plan a trip to Leipzig just gimme a call or write a message... Whenever you move over here - feel welcome in our flat! It's every time a pleasure to host interresting people from all over the world

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How about some German pancakes, 'Bratkartoffeln mit Speck' or other recipes I got known in other countries? Some Taijiquan-lesson or Wushu fitness workout? Some anecdotes from the last travels ;) I'll fill your couch with some more funny stories and of course it will be a pleasure to me invite you for some drinks.... hoping to get some good advice where to get the most tasty local dishes around there :)

I love travelling, meeting up with people from different cultures and experience the typical cuisine of every country ;) Apart from this I am really interested in languages and - let' say - addicted to martial arts and living my dreams... every day a little more ;)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

If you are interrestet in asian philosophy, martial arts, taijiquan or qigong: I would enjoy to teach you a little. And of course I'm curious about, what I could learn from you.
My favourite is getting known new recipes of local specialities - cooking together with the hosts or having them just right on the street. For me, getting known a culture is not only by language, but also by exploring all the typical dishes. Yummieeee ;))
