Hi, my name is Wiktor and I'm 23 years old. I'm studying at Polytechnic of Warsaw majoring Automatics and Robotics. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, wall climbing, and sailing.

In 2016 I went as an exchange student to United States, where I studied and graduated from Kingston Highschool I got plenty of cool stories to share from that time.

In 2018 I won with my friend tickets funded by European Union as a part of a project called "Discover Eu". We had an amazing trip around Europe, we met number of people with whome we spent great time. This was the first time I used Couchsurfing.

After Covid pandemic I decided to comeback to CS and go on a spontaneous backpacking trip to Norway with my friend Wojtek. Once again it was a great time in CS community.

This year, for my vacation, I'm planning a solo trip around the United States to reconnect with the host family and friends I made during my one year exchange. Along the way, I want to see the places I've dreamt of seeing and meet people with whom I will create great memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing it not even about cheap traveling, we can get something more valuable from it, which are friendship and connections. Staying with local people and living their life gives an opportunity to see the place from a completely different angle and experience things that we would never experience by going on a package holiday.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music. Love learning new songs from people.
I mainly read books about science and some biographies. My favorite books are "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!" and "What do you think what other people think?" by Richard Feynman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016 I went as an exchange student to the US, which was one of the crucial events in my life. Life abroad has changed me and my view of the world. Since that I've done really cool stuff!!!
