Overview
About Me
My real name is Wilhelm ("Wil" and "Guero" are nicknames in Mexico and Peru, as my real name to most is unpronouncable haha!
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world a less poor, more liveable and green place (so just the small picture haha!) Enjoy doing that and everything else!
ABOUT ME
Ufff always a difficult question! Maybe that one would be answered best by my friends who are wide spread in different countries and know me (best) in different times and contexts. I myself would say I get along with all kinds of people because although I can make fun of stereotypes (first and foremost myself and my nationality) I don't like to judge people. That's part of my perception of the 'meaning of life' (great movie by the way). I've lived and worked in a few places and everywhere found great people that accompanied me. So, coming back to the question above, I hope they say sth. like open, interesting, fun, always a story to tell, german but not... por ahi!
PHILOSOPHY
One part of it I already mentioned above. The rest again over a beer hehe! Or wine. Or tea. Or coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I entered some time ago and have been pretty occupied with little room. I hope in a couple of months we'll have a visitors room and bed here in our shared house in Lima, Perú. I did go the some couchsurfing events here in Lima and also en Colombia (Medellin) and together with my girlfriend organized a "sightseeing"-trip to a spectacular place about 2 hours north of Lima.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly the mentioned events here and in Colombia which were fun!
Interests
I'm somewhat idealistic but never forget the fun! Things i'm interested in, ufff, starting from subjects such as politics, economics, and all kinds of cultural issues. On the other hand, I enjoy activities like martial arts, cooking, eating, drinking (all three best in good company), football (the non-US one), traveling, trekking, reading, and lots of stuff more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to India as a whole experience, especially staying there up north near the Himalayas around Dharamsala. There was a moment in which after a deadly summer of desertarian heat I walked amid fresh green plants with a panorama of fogged mountains stroking the dew of my arms. That one I'll never forget!
