CURRENT MISSION

At this point in time I am trying to finish my batchlors degree in History at Rutgers University...in two semester I will be off and traveling for quite some time. I want to meet all sorts of people and discover more about myself.

ABOUT ME

I am a 27 year old male from Dirty Jeresy. Music is my passion, that is, going to see live shows and festivals. There are very few places that appeal to me more than a festival in the middle of the wood with an awesome Shakedown. My family is the most important thing in the world to me with my friends a close second. I love random acts of kindness...the feeling of hooking up a stranger is one of the best I know.

PHILOSOPHY

It is always easier to be nice than a dick. It takes a lot of effort to be mean. Everyone and everything is beautiful in its own unique way. I am a firm believer that you can never have too many friends. Karma is very real.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point in time, b/c of my living situation, it may not be ideal for me to host. What I would like to do is meet some cool heads in the area who are all about the CS scene. I would definatly be down to meet up w/ people and show them a good time. Philly is only 40 minutes from me and I know the city rather well. There is also some great hiking and camping in the area.

Interests

Like I mentioned before going to see live music is my favorite activity in the world. I could name so many bands that I jam out to but my top three are moe., Phish, and the Grateful Dead. I play paintball for Delta Paintball Inc...it's always a rowdy good time. Camping and hiking in the woods calms me and can always clear my head when the world gets a little too crazy. I would like to learn a martial art but have not yet found the time to dedicate to it. There are so many subjects that interest me that I do plan on learning. I would like to learn the healing art of Reike, start to meditate again, and become fluent in Arabic and Italian.

As long as I can dance to it I like it.

Its been quite a while since I have had time for pleasure reading but some of my faviorates are: The Dark Elf Series, The Killing Zone, Generation Kill, LOTR, The Hobbit, anything by Author C. Clark or Stephen King.

Teach, Learn, Share

Skills I can pass on with confidence: grilling, camping, hiking, glow poi, dancing w/ glow sticks, canoeing/kayaking on flat water, and I have a wealth of music to share.

Skills I would like to learn: orienteering, fire dancing/poi, organic farming, Reike, martial arts, new cooking recipes, anything and everything...knowledge is power.
