To know myself
I don't know, I'm bad at describing myself because I always get hung up on the things that define me. I guess you are what you love, and I love being in motion and doing things. Walking, running, hiking, working out, that sort of thing. I love to read and write, I love listening to music and people. I love drawing and making fun creations for my friends in Adobe Illustrator.
Let's see, what else.. I love the moon and the sun, and trees and the ocean, and I'm an excellent whistler. I suppose that's about it :3 Oh, and I'm a vegetarian.
"..ramble out yonder and explore the forests, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, the lovely, mysterious, and awesome space. Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to the body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much; I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those desk-bound men and women with their hearts in a safe deposit box, and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this; You will outlive the bastards." -Edward Abbey
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm traveling and I don't have the opportunity to host. Though, I have hosted in the past and I look forward to hosting again.
So far, it's been awesome. It's a great way to see places from an more wholesome perspective. A few months ago, I drove from Maryland to California in a beat up old Honda Accord, and I couchsurfed most of the way. It was way cool.
Music, trees, books, debuachery, summer, pickles, oranges, animals, bugs, people, drawing, painting, thinking, laughing, and rolling around on the floor.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Kafka on the Shore, Stargirl, Into the Wild, Into Thin Air, On The Road, The Enchiridion, Motorcycle Diaries, Lots of fiction and non-fiction. So I guess everything, haha. Fantasy is awesome, and I love adventure.
The same goes for movies, and as far as music goes, I think I like a lot of classic rock, alternative rock, and indie rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Malawi, Africa on October something or other when the wet season started and all the termites came out with the first rain. The air was so thick with them, it looked like the entire world was flying around.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about birds, bugs, plants and germs :) I can sing for you, and play guitar (poorly), and I can do impersonations and I suppose I can cook you dinner. I make a mean vegan chili and stir-fry.
