I am a very curious and open minded individual. I seek adventure and genuine connections. I need nature in my life! I start to feel crazy if I am in the city for too long. I am a student of Anthropology at SFSU. I am currently exploring how to make herbal tinctures. I absolutely love animals. I'm a big bike rider. I am desperately trying to become fluent in Spanish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed a handful of times. I would love to host but I live with 5 other people and not everyone is open to the wonderful idea of having strangers stay on our couch. Eventually, I will convince them they are missing out!
In 2010 I stayed at an animal sanctuary on the island of Caye Caulker in Belize. It was an incredible experience. Our host was a sweet woman who hung around her home and cared for the cats, dogs and duck that lived in her beachy backyard. Also in 2012, I was in Ireland and Hungary for a month and couch surfed at various places the entire time. So amazing!
Bike riding, rock climbing, freeganism, activism, live music, discovering new music, hiking, watching movies, sewing, medicinal plants/herbs/therapies, history, dancing,
Music, Movies, and Books
Live music! All kinds!
I love both fiction and non-fiction books, but lately I have had no time for pleasure reading, only school reading (which can be pleasurable, as well!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Losing my charge card in a waterfall in Arenal, Costa Rica was pretty awesome. Drunkenly "borrowing" umbrellas from the bourgeoisie outside of a fancy opera with CS friends while it poured rain on my 24th birthday in Vienna, Austria.
Teach, Learn, Share
I only have little knowledge about natural remedies but I would love to share what I know. I'd love to exchange language lessons if it pertains!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A couch, friendship, kitchen, advice and a big slobbery dog
