ABOUT ME
My profile name may be somewhat misleading... I'm really not all that wild per se (sorry lads). It's an inside joke. I'm an English lit student, and so of course one of my main passions in life is reading. Current favs include Jonathan Safran Foer and Keats (yeah... I know he's not that current. deal.).
The thing that I really live for though is music. I'm sadly unable to play more than the opening riffs of a couple songs on guitar... but I love going to shows, listening to records, and being generally music nerdy. If I can make jokes with you about Ian Curtis or Mark E. Smith, then, you are an automatic friend. I generally love indie (and what a broad category that is), but am open to pretty much anything. I am fascinated by art and photography and can spend hours more than any sane person in a museum.
PHILOSOPHY
Beauty is truth, truth beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a week at the Rainbow Gathering in Wyoming. A temporary community built practically overnight, that cooked, sang, danced, and shared everything from life experiences to food for a couple of weeks then left, erasing any sign they had been living in the middle of the woods. Only to reform once a year. Kind of like Burning Man... but a little more low key.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make wicked eggs in a basket, huevos rancheros (NM style), and burritos.
And I can teach you the opening chords of Postcards From Italy (by Beirut) on the ukelele.
