Hello! I'm a soon to be real life American adult working in Los Angeles as a musician. I love all the animals, space, comedy, philosophizin', and all things (read: most things) exploratory. I live with some really amazing people/other musicians, spend most of my free time recording in our home studio, writing and practicing!

I'm from Madison, Wisconsin which makes Los Angeles look like sort of a dump, but a dump with a lot more fun stuff to do. Lets go do some fun stuff around my dumpy, exciting, expensive, expansive city!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd guess I'm here for the same reasons anyone else might be: making friends, learning new languages and cultures, a better way to travel, and to share my life and experiences with new people! Also, in case it all falls apart, I've got a backup plan.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: there's a lot of music. a lot. some of it's really good, some of it's alright, some of it kind of sucks. Chances are we'll find something we both like though, promise!

Movies: Love movies to an almost unhealthy degree. I like old school horror stuff, comedies, futuristic/sci-fi, a good drama now and then. Anything Miyazaki or comparable anime, Polanski, the Coen Bros. Paul Thomas Anderson. Etc...

Only over the last couple years did I get back into reading. Had it ruined for me as a kid, but recent standouts include Pynchon and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
