think travel is the best way to break from the mundane in life and seek out adventure. I love trying new things (especially when food is related), and I'm pretty easy-going. I want to be able to see the world, piece by piece, having new experiences along the way.

Currently, I'm going to college at Tufts University right outside of Boston where I'm considering studying German and Civic Studies (social justice). My family and four dogs live in Atlanta, GA. I've previously been a drummer, and right now, I play quidditch (which is a real sport!), and I'm learning to crochet.

Showing someone around your home town or city is a really cool experience for both people involved. One person gets to view the most authentic form of life while traveling, and the other gets to show things they're proud of to an eager audience.

Perhaps more importantly, what really makes traveling special isn't the wonders you see or even the incredible food you taste, but rather the stories that you can think back on years afterwards. These stories come about when you're interacting with new people and doing new things.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: Decemberists, Coldplay, German and Spanish pop. I like a good variety of music from the 60's through the 80's (and I've played some in former bands)

Movies: Love the Marvel movies, Interstellar is also an all-time favorite. I try to watch Oscar-material, but I always find myself guiltily going back to the same superhero and Disney movies. Also, anything with Tom Hanks in it.

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, A Walk in the Woods is phenomenal, some non-fiction and travel writing.
