ABOUT ME

Spent a few years in my own little world, time to get out and see more of the one I actually live in. I'm curious about other cultures, would like to learn enough language to get along anywhere I decide to go.

I am keen on all kinds of music, From Dub to Rock, Trance to Hip-Hop and music is a bit of a passion for me.

Don't just stand there, do something!

Say Bollocks to it, do what makes you happy and stop worrying what others think (be respectful though, obviously).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to be happy and helpful. Get involved where I can or just chill with a cider/beer/wine/spirit. Any good ideas on things to do, put them passed me, willing to try just about anything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many an experience pre-CS membership. Mostly of staying on the sofas of Uni friends. More recently of passing out on sofas of friends at home after a heavy night. Enjoyed crashing at a Hairy friend's house in Brighton most recently.

Interests

Both kinds of music (The type you play and the type you listen to), Knowledge is Power, Laying in, Getting up early to see a city slowly get busy. The things I see around me and the things people can show me that I wouldn't have normally seen. All these things and more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Something with a beat, groove or that just flows. Most recently Gotan Project, Shpongle, Roots Manuva, The Herbaliser, Mr Scruff, Opiuo, Compulsive Gamblers, Soul of Man, Far Too Loud, Motorhead, Megadeth, Morcheeba, Easy Star All-Stars and tooooo many more.

Books I like include Shantaram, Mr Nice and The F**k It Way. Actually, that's all the books I've read in the last year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Festivals. Festivals are quite possibly the tipping point for me to go travelling. They have shown me there is more to life than being bored as hell in a small town in the UK.

My travels will be the next amazing thing I do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Knowledge of electronics, sound engineering and practical skills. willing to share what I know in exchange for what you can teach me. Ask me a question! I'll answer it as best I can.
