Travelling couple who met each other at work. Looking to break away from the corporate world for a few months to seek out new and rich experiences around the world.

We are not just looking for 'free' accommodation. We want to meet new people, hang out and immerse ourselves in other cultures.

Our travel plan is currently to focus on Europe and we're looking to seek out paths less travelled.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As part of our travelling, we really want to get to know some locals and see this as the best way to really get to know people and the places they live.

Interests

Apart from travelling here is a summary of what we like to do:

Will: Play and watch almost any sport - especially soccer (football) and Australian rules football, I also like to read almost anything non-fiction and love spending afternoons watching documentaries. I just completed my masters in applied statistics.

Sam: An amateur photography enthusiast and yoga lover.

We are also both big fans of Game of Thrones and music festivals - we are hoping to go to some big festivals in our travels so any suggestions are much appreciated :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Both have a very eclectic taste in music and can enjoy almost anything. Right now we are listening to: Odesza, What So Not, RL Grime, Chet Faker.

Will's favourite recent books are - Sapiens (Yuval Noah Harari), Chasing the Scream (Johann Hari), and In Defense of Food (Michael Pollan).

Sam's recently read books are - Freakonomics and the Girl on the Train.
