I'm all about communication. There is nothing cooler about this world than unfiltered honesty. It's rare, but when I experience it...it's amazing and refreshing. I'm still learning to communicate the way I want, but practice makes perfect!

Life is about finding happiness and making it easier for others to do the same. Otherwise, what's the point?

Interesses

I'd have to say movies first. Filmmaking is so interesting to me. I'm in the business and it still astounds me what can be accomplished when you bring enough talented and dedicated people together.
I'm working on a few scripts, and I'm always learning new things about shooting films.
I could definitely talk about movies forever.

I also enjoy photography...but not just snapshots or posing models...I love seeing or making a truly engaging image...either technically or conceptually. Photojournalism is the work I respect the most.

And not career-related...music is where it's at. I think I love it so much because I CAN'T create it. I can only appreciate it, and I certainly do. I can bring and hard drive with music on it and blow your mind (or at least spruce up your iTunes!)

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

A few years ago I was offered the opportunity to travel to Key West to document a sculpture exhibition that takes place on the beach every year. So I bought a camera and for a week I shot artists create stunning works of art from all sorts of materials right there on the beach. I left a couple weeks later with thousands of images and a renewed love for documentary photography. It also sparked my interest in couchsurfing since I drove down and stayed with someone I'd met only a few days before the trip.
