CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is simply to live and to live simply in the best way possible

ABOUT ME

I'm typically a very outgoing person who can be shy at times. I love being around people, travelling and being outdoors. My main passion at the time is rock climbing because it allows me to challenge myself, stay healthy, and do the other three things mentioned in the previous sentence. I'm always open to new things, meeting new people, and hearing their stories. I like to play more than I like to work and I don't take myself too seriously. I grew up on a farm and I'm a bit of a country boy at heart which isn't obvious right away but is huge part of who I am.

PHILOSOPHY

Fear is a manipulative emotion that tricks many into living a boring life. If you're scared to do something that won't physically hurt you (at least severely) then you should probably do it anyway. I live every day knowing it could be my last and I would rather regret having done something than regret having not done something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have little experience through this site however I did recently host a Scottish fellow and an Australian for several weeks and had some of the best times of my life.

Interests

Good Beer, Cooking, Playing the Guitar, Rock Climbing, Books with Pictures, Bourbon, Bluegrass music, Jeeps, working with kids, Kayaking, Vegetarianism and things I have yet to try!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love John Steinbeck and Donald Miller as far as books go. For music I'm really into just about everything but lately it's been a lot of bluegrass and folk. I don't watch much tv or many movies.
