Hi, I’m Will. I’ve moved around a little for work and life – from the UK to Singapore – and I love discovering the character of new places. I work in brand and marketing, but outside of that I’m usually exploring food spots, cooking for friends, or planning my next trip.

I’m active and curious, always up for trying something different – whether that’s kayaking, hiking, or just wandering into a part of a city I don’t know yet. I love connecting with people, hearing their stories, and finding those little moments that make travelling feel special.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started Couchsurfing when I was 18, travelling through Europe and the Philippines. For me, travelling has always been about people and their stories just as much as the places themselves. Couchsurfing lets me connect beyond the tourist stuff, share experiences, and maybe head off on a little adventure together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m into music that makes a good backdrop for cooking or hanging out with friends - think anything from acoustic covers to disco to a bit of house when I’m out. I love films that make you think (but I’ll happily sit through something ridiculous on a plane). Books tend to be around food or design/architecture – things that feed my curiosity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely share cooking, I love making meals for people and learning local recipes. I’ll happily swap stories and travel tips (or my prized hummus recipe), and I’m always curious to learn from other people’s way of living. I’d also say I’m good at finding hidden food spots, so I can share those if we explore together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, food, and an easygoing attitude. I’m respectful of people’s space, but also love getting out to explore together if you’re up for it. And I’ll always say yes to trying something new or helping out if you need an extra hand around the place.
