About Me

I left Colombia and Ukraine last year to take a job in San Francisco, USA!

2016 - 2019
I went to Brazil a few times then resigned from my job of 4 years so I could live there while teaching myself computer programming. I studied web development at school in NYC and ended up with a software job in biotech in Cambridge, Massachusetts for 2 years. Now I've resigned to pursue the dream of living an international lifestyle and making an impact. I'm working for myself and a partner trying to make ends meet. My journey starts in Colorado and I hope to re-locate to Colombia next year.

I like to explore the world in it's entirety. Places, people and ideas all fascinate me. I'm very outgoing and active. I enjoy the outdoors, especially the mountains.

1. Every time I fly on a plane i can't help but look down and wonder if it is possible that one day I can touch the lives of everyone beneath me, be it through a product or service, or even just an idea. Even if I end up working with 1 person at a time rather than affecting millions I'm cool with that as long as it's meaningful and I'm happy. 2. Push yourself. You only live once. There are over 6 billion people on this planet. The unexamined life is not worth living so explore, meet people and see new things. You will learn from everything, somehow. I take a very holistic view of life and knowledge. 3. It IS possible to work hard and stay calm. There is no reason why in the workplace people need to always be getting so upset or angry. This has a negative effect on your team and greater organization. Negativity is a no-no. 4. No one person is more perfect than another. No one is really weird or crazy at the end of the day. They are just "different" than you or I. I try to maintain this attitude but it's tough and it is a big world out there.

I can teach Portuguese, Piano, Programming. The triple P combo.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking through a crowd of tens of thousands of Italians in Rome before the Italian National Football Championship. Everyone was shouting in Italian, I couldn't understand a single word, I couldn't tell if people were yelling at me or with each other. I found myself constantly looking at the shadows around me to see if people were orienting themselves towards me. I was kind of scared at the time. People drinking beer all over Northern Rome. I was a little nervous. At the same time it felt amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent 3 years working and travelling all over the USA. I enjoyed travelling to so many states. I like seeing the difference between lives in the Northern USA and Southern areas, and the California west coast too (my favorite overall). Every place has been my favorite in some way.

Even though we speak different languages on this planet, I think social interaction is still very much the same. We all have the same biological needs and psychology for the most part. There is a fundamental goodness in human beings that transcends all of our attributes and characterizations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always try to be a courteous guest and follow all your rules. I'm engaged in learning about your local community or life. I'm up for joining any tour or adventure. I can answer any questions on USA. I can help you improve your English.

One of my favorite things to do is to share travel experiences and stories. It is one of the best ways to learn and grow!
