I used to be a musician but I'm a high school maths teacher now. I got instruments in the flat, a turntable and enough books to keep anyone busy. I don't have the time to travel much anymore, so share your stories with me and help me experience the world vicariously.

I'm a very happy chilled out person and I love dancing (with more enthusiasm than skill) so if you wanna accompany me either watching or making some music, I'm all about that.

Funk, jazz, blues, hip-hop, afro-beat, soukous, samba, soul, anything good, I got Shostakovich Waltz No. 2 spinning on repeat right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet people and have fun. I only moved to Bristol recently and I think CouchSurfing is the best way to explore a city, even your own. I used to host in my hometown Brighton and with CouchSurfers I discovered places I didn't know existed. Let's explore Bristol together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've experienced so many amazing things, and I'm blessed to have known the people who have helped me along the way, but honestly the best and most amazing thing I've ever done was becoming a teacher. From a one-of-a-kind boarding school in the Somaliland desert to the vibrant and passionate inner-city school I work at now, I love my job with all its excitement, suffering and ridiculousness!
