We are Alexander (33) & Willeke (28) a Dutch couple traveling the world together. Currently we are driving from the Netherlands to Australia in our 4x4.

We are both entrepeneurs. Alexander has a software company and I work as an career retreat organiser, Hoping to inspire people to live a relaxed, zen life by staying true to yourself and make your dreams come true!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like to meet new, local people and we don’t want to stay in expensive and boring hotels all the time when we visit cities where we don’t have our car or are not able to find a campspot…

So therefor we would love to couch surf from time to time, and park our overland vehicle at your doorstep to sleep there and maybe work a little bit from your livingroom! (At the moment we are still waiting on our car to arrive, so we would like to make use of a bedroom too in Perth)

If we can sleep inside that would be fine too, depends on what your prefer. We won’t ask for your attention all day long, by for example being our tour guide. Willeke loves doing some research herself based on the 283639 blogs she reads before we go to a place. Ofcourse if you like to show us around, that’s even better but don’t feel the pressure! ;) But we are already happy to get to know you a bit better with the company of good food and drinks, on our account ofcourse!

Music, Movies, and Books

We love disco, house, blues, jazz, classic piano, and techno. A wild variety of music! Haha. We watch a lot of series, documentaties and movies. I like to read psychology books.

And good things we do: Alexander is working on Buku, a digital studybook application that helps kids in for example Africa study more easily, whithout expensive books.

I, Willeke, am cleaning the places we visit outdoors in nature. Because I get really sad seeing all the lost plastics and garbage in nature.. 😢 Let’s make the world a better, more beautiful place! ✨
