About Me

ABOUT ME

I just finished being a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador and am about to start a trip through south america (from colombia hasta el sur!) I love traveling, latin america, dancing, listening to music, good food and wine, meeting new people and laughing and having fun.

PHILOSOPHY

Living life, being happy and having a fucking great time with friends and family

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted people in El Salvador and will be soon traveling and surfing!

Interests

I love listening and dancing to music. Color and art make me smile, think and adds favor to life.

New experiences that I can learn from whether it be meeting someone new, doing something I've never tried, learning a new fact, eating a new food and much more!

I like outdoors activities and sports and will attempt to play even if I'm not good.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a little bit of everything for music, depending on my mood.

Movies: billy madison, superbad, black swan, motorcycle diaries, maria llena de gracia, life of bees

I enjoy reading in English and Spanish. Some current books I've read and liked are shantaram, rum diaries, kite runner, collapse

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and seeing all the vibrant colors of the fish, shellfish, coral and turtles while being under this crystal, turquoise water.

Seeing the face of a 15-year old girl and her mom so excited with joy that tears came to their eyes when they heard that the young girl had won a scholarship to study 10th and 11th grade. She will be the first (fingers crossed) in her family to graduate from high school!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and discuss politics.

Teach ya about gardening and maybe how to make some recycled art! Maybe English too

I want to improve my Spanish and would love to learn Portugese. Also, I'd love to learn more about music, art, dance, the world and people!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, France, Greece, Guatemala, Italy, United Kingdom
