ABOUT ME

I'm a mechanical engineers born in Germany, but actually also half American. My philosophy is that you learn the most about ourself in extreme situations of any kind: Living abroad and being subjected to other cultures, climbing a difficult mountain, hiking in the wilderness and so on...
I enjoy life and want to contribute somehow to making this a better place for everybody.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like the idea to support the cultural understanding and exchange in our world. I think it is vital for our future that the different cultures of our planet start to understand each other. This is one step to achieve this

I surfed a little in Sweden and in Stuttgart and so far had only good experience!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Being cought in a snowstorm for several days, being stuck on a mountain because of a thunderstorm, being subjected to avalanches. Living in the wilderness for 20 days, sleeping in an igloo. These experiences have influenced me allot and reminded me of how life was before industrialization.
