About Me
American living in Naples. I am a Contractor working indefinitely in Naples. I have been here 2 years so far. I enjoy traveling, and meeting new people. Someone encouraged me to explore couchsurfing as a way to re-energize and build a network of like minded people. I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a social person, and if you have ever been an expat, you know that after awhile, the excitement of 'traveling' wears off... You just live somewhere you don't speak the language well, and your house is just a place you go to sleep! I think it would be fun to get energized by those for whom the city I live in is an exciting new place to be, and whose presence helps me to feel like my house is more of a home!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the three months I spent in Japan was pretty amazing! I was enroute to Naples and waiting on visa paperwork. My company sent me to Japan as part of my job familiarization process.
Teach, Learn, Share
Happy to practice English with you, and learn a few new words in your language as well! I also keep a music instruments around if you would like to jam with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not native to Naples, but I can give you some broad strokes. I have a little walking tour I take friends on that starts off in Vomero and loops down through the lungho mare and ends up at the metro back to Vomero. There is a little look out over Chiaia, great for panoramic view, two of the three major castles, and many pizza joints!
