Also known by many as a 'gentle giant', I have a keen thirst for knowledge and experience, and have made it my life mission to try understand the world we live and my place in it a little better. I have lived in South Africa my entire life, however I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to many different places around the globe - I absolutely LOVE travelling!

Couchsurfing strikes me as a great way to meet people and seems like it will be a greatly beneficial tool to use on my upcoming adventure to the UK and South America! My trip is somewhat loosely planned so having the ability to find hosts instead of making a solid booking at a hotel will be extremely helpful.

I love many things, some of which include music, movies, food, nature, yoga and philosophy (and the list goes on). I enjoy being sociable and absolutely love meeting people, yet I do also enjoy spending time alone to work on my hobbies and self. Oh! And did I mention I love traveling? ^_^

I love all kinds of music, but my favorite at the moment has to be psychedelic and progressive rock, as well as psytrance and certain kinds of electronica hip hop. I currently produce electronic music, as well as play guitar and have also dabbled in other instruments such as drums and piano. I also love going to live shows and festivals!

I am huge fan of movies that make you think, and keep you thinking after the movie has ended. I also love series and have spent many hours consumed with shows such as Rick and Morty and Game of Thrones.

I love reading but I don't read enough! My favorite book has to be Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. Other favorites include The Outsider by Albert Camus and 1984 by George Orwell.
