Hello, My name is William Hewitt, but I go by Willy. I have been an American Football, Basketball, Baseball player who turned into a Futbol player the more I visited Europe. I am almost finished with university. I have lived in Colorado my whole life and I love that state more than anything. I am a Christian and thankful for every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing to explore the world, because that is what truly makes me happy. I can talk with anyone and I hope that through travel and meeting new people, I will be able to spread a positive outlook on life wherever I go. I hope I can gain perspective of different cultures and spread the idea of visiting Colorado (where I live) to the people who are so kind to host me.

Interests

Now I am living in Granada, Spain studying Spanish. I said I was fluent in Spanish, because I can understand Spanish very well and hold a conversation about anything. (I just might need help with new words every now and then) I Love Traveling, Snowboarding, Surfing and exploring the world meeting new people. I hate technology and I currently do not own a phone, because I believe that they are destroying human connections with the people who surround us every day. I love the gifts of Nature that God has given us. I also am a dog person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched the USA vs. Belgium of the 2014 World Cup in Copenhagen, Denmark on a huge field. I made a bet that USA would win and they didn't, so I had to do a naked Cartwheel on the oldest street in Copenhagen.
