Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Only knew about Couchsurfing recently and thought it would be cool to try out. Love the thought that I could meet with locals when I'm abroad who can show me what's it like to live there and where the proper good places are.

Interests

Motorsports and cars, Cricket, Snooker, Racket sports and things that I'm not good at such as skating!! Also like cooking programs although I rarely try to recreate what they make. Being an Engineer I also have an interest in things work or how its made - I know its kinda geeky but its in my blood lol. Non physical interests also include astronomy and comedy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depends on my mood but mainly listen to Urban/R'n'B especially the old school hits.

Not really much of a movies buff but I can watch films like White Chicks, Coolrunnings and 2 Fast 2 Furious over and over again when its on TV... Something I can have a laugh over whilst watching with a friend.

I prefer to read magazines such as Nat Geo or technical books as I like to learn and explore new things.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - English but in a strong accent!! Probably not what people outside of UK would be used to... Also I can demonstrate chip frying if you don't mind destroying your kitchen!

Would love to learn to Ski as I've followed skiing on TV for so long but never tried. Also would love to learn to Surf after trying bodyboarding with friends but will need to brush up on my swimming first!
