About Me
Hey whoever is reading this, hope you're doing well! 🙂
My own name is William but most people just call me Will, I was born and reared in Cork which is in the very south of Ireland, it's very beautiful but I guess at some point everyone gets a bit stir crazy so I'm looking to do a bit of traveling and start experiencing the world again as I havent really been traveling much in the last 2 years!
I'm very easy going and positive and absolutely love meeting new people and exploring new places!
I can chat for hours and hours and always have useless facts about everything because I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge!
Love the outdoors and getting some sun almost as much as I like staring at the night sky
Love all animals so I'll repay you for letting me crash on your couch by looking after your pets! If you don't then I'll happily repay you with a few pints 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Haven't been traveling now in almost 2 years and need to get back out into the world and couchsurfing will be able to make that a reality so here's hoping you think I'm nice enough to let me crash on your couch!
Interests
Love art in all its forms, listen to music constantly and play a bit of guitar myself so I might sing a few songs if you have one laying around!
I never get bored of learning new things and meeting new people
I can do a little bit of origami too so I'll definitely make you a little souvenir for letting me stay with you 😊

Music, Movies, and Books
This could take hours so I'll try and keep it brief
Music: I like all genres of music more or less, been listening to a lot of indie and jazz at the moment but here's a couple of bands I listen to regularly enough.
Gorillaz, the XX, Moby, Cigarettes after Sex, RHCP's, Ásgeir, Eddie Vedder, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Aphex Twin, Glass Animals, Jamie XX, Bon Ivor, Flume, Chet Faker, Vaporwave, Trentemoller, Mt Kimbie, Arctic Monkeys, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, TV on the radio, Fat Freddy's Drop, Alt-j, Alabama Shakes, Elbow, Hot Chip, Grizzly Bear, Gogo penguin, LCD Soundsystem, Bobby Womack, Fleetwood Mac.
Movies: I have a love for all things Disney, Studio Ghibli and Tim Burton (you just have to love The Nightmare before Christmas!). Some of my favorites would have to be Momentum, Pans Labyrinth, The Lobster, Amelie, Groundhog Day (anything with Bill Murray really) and Muppet Treasure Island (can't help but love it since I was a kid, I sing along to every song if you put it on!)
Books: I love reading! So much that it's difficult for me to read because I try to read a few books at once, currently in the middle of reading Catch 22, Foundation by Issac Asimov and Carter Beats The Devil. I'm trying to get through The Dark tower series too but I've only read the first book so far so no spoilers if you're ahead of me! Charles Bukowski is probably my favourite authour, I highly recommend reading Ham on Rye. Read a bit of philosophy (just finished Why I am so Clever by Nietzsche) and a few comics here and there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skiing in Kitzbuhl in Austria. I can't even begin to describe the beautiful views and the kindness of the locals. I also nearly broke my leg while skiing but I'll tell you all about that another time 🙂
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching just as much as I love learning, I'm more than happy to teach what I can in terms of guitar, origami, cooking proper Irish dinners, baking and any other skills I might know in return for any skills you might have yourself!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Easy going conversations, Irish home cooking and baking, origami, a few songs if you have a guitar and the first pint is on me!

Austria, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Wales
