Hello all, my name is Will, I'm 22 and am from New Mexico, USA. I Recently graduated from the University of New Mexico where I studied International business and spanish. I have been working as a wildland firefighter for the past four years but I am taking a year off to travel the world! I have spent the last two months in southeast asia but now I am touring through europe by bicycle. I do not smoke or drink for the most part and am touring solo. Currently I have tentative plans to tour from the Netherlands to Greece, and I have no time constraints. I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures and places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my limited traveling experience I've found that I enjoy a place much more when I stay with people who know the town well. I love hearing peoples unique opinions and perspectives regarding the places they live and for this reason couchsurfing seems like a great way to gain a more enriched understanding of a place. Also because I have only budgetary constraints, and alot of time, this method of travel is a good way for me to experience different places on a budget. Ultimately I'm couchsurfing to meet people, make friends, and experience new and diverse places.
