I'm a 28 year old medical student. I just finished my first year at Sheffield Uni. Prior to medicine I worked as a professional actor, working on the West End and touring the UK and Asia with various stage shows. I decided to buy a place in Sheffield and return to study because I missed academia and was finally ready to settle down a bit (Crazy I know!?).

I've been exploring the world for the last 10 years having done various big trips in Asia, South America, North America and Africa. My life wouldn't be complete without travel. I've always stayed in hostels but a friend recommended this and so I thought I'd give it a try! Plus now I have my own place I'd love to think I could help out a fellow traveller.

I've always travelled on my own because I've found I meet more people that way and it forces you to explore the culture of where you're backpacking more. I'm a social, gay, (please don't accept me if you've problems with this), liberal, down to earth chap who tries to get the most out of everything in life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. Over the years I've met some awesome people traveling who have helped me along the way and now it's time to pay the favour forwards!

I'm new to couch surfing have previously stayed in hostels but after a recommendation I'd like to give it a try and meet more locals.

I tutor science, English and drama privately to keep the pennies coming in. I'd be more than happy to help someone develop their understanding of English. And of course show you the delights of Sheffield and the surrounding Peak District :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My flat in Sheffield is a beautiful new build, with a beautiful balcony right in the centre of Sheffield. It's the perfect place to base yourself to explore Sheffield. It's a 2 bed flat which I share with my lodger. I have a very comfy sofa on offer! Plus I'm happy to help with English language skills and of course you'll have my expert knowledge of Yorkshire on hand and a love to laugh!
