ABOUT ME
The first thing people usually say when describing me is relaxed. I have 3 older brothers, so I learned pretty quick that there's no point in worrying about the small things. Life will happen as it happens, and all we can do is make it the best one possible.
Currently working as an engineer while trying to spend as much time as possible outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed and hosted, and I love every minute of it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch surfed in Seattle, Berlin, Gothenburg, and Copenhagen. I also hitchhiked from Copenhagen to Hamburg with another guy I met through the couchsurfing website.
I hosted frequently when I lived in California but haven't been in a situation where I could host since I moved to Seattle.
Interests
I rock climb as much as possible. I grew up playing soccer, but keep getting injured practically every time I play now :)
I also love to ski, and one of the goals in my life is to ski on every continent. If I'm not skiing or climbing, I'm usually hanging out with friends. I'm a huge music fan and my friends and I like to drive to random towns to listen to bands we've never heard of.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Blues, Jazz, rock, classical, indie, rap etc. Really anything but Nashville country (I like Texas country though)
Books: Fools Progress, Monkey Wrench Gang, Dharma Bums, Lamb the gospel of Biff, anything Terry Pratchet and many more (my mom is a librarian so I spent a lot of time in the library when I was younger)
movies: Too many to list. I have a terribly good memory, so I'm always quoting something but so often no one understands haha
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first thing that comes to mind would probably be backpacking through Yosemite. Just being able to camp with friends in some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen was amazing.
Another moment would be the first time I got to fly in a Cessna. It's just amazing that you can cram into what is essentially a tin box that can barely fit two people, and then fly up into the air 4000 feet. It's just a crazy experience. Also the pilot I was with was formerly a test pilot, so he was fearless and did whatever he felt like. We saw a couple pods of whales and each time he would zoom down to the water and then bank to a ridiculous angle in order to get the best view.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about aircraft, as my masters is actually in aerospace engineering. I enjoy cooking and always love to chance to cook with new people.
As for learning, I'm always willing to learn something new.
