About Me

I'm always game for adventure or any sports. I love travelling or backpacking. I want to learn about new cultures and languages, and I like to eat good food, listen to good music, watch good movies and enjoy good company :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a wonderful experience couchsurfing in Turkey in 2015, meeting many new and interesting people from all over the world.

I think couchsurfing is an awesome platform to connect with locals and fellow travellers, always leading to new adventures and amazing stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love economics, especially macroeconomics and political economy. I am also interested in history, current affairs and the diverse cultures of people. If time permits, I would love to sit down with a glass of wine, fruits and a good fiction novel or history book.

Some of the books I read this holiday include Mian and Sufi's House of Debt, Martin Wolf's The Shifts and the Shocks, Liquat Ahamed's Lords of Finance, Eric Hobsbawm's The Age of Capital and Harper Lee's Go Set a Watchmen

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have camped on a island off the coast of Singapore. I saw a sea turtle jump out of the water there. When I went to turkey, I saw a wild sea turtle again.

In 2013, I went to Korea for 2 months for WWOOFing, working on farms for board. Great experience.

In 2015, I travelled in Turkey after summer school, did couchsurfing and hitch-hiking. It was a blast!

I can share some of my culture, teach english or Chinese. Just let me know!
