ABOUT ME

I am working on several projects as an engineer in robotics. In the years before, I was a Naval officer in nuclear subs, a flight analyst with NASA, and a computer company owner. My wife, Janine, is a massage therapist, in private practice. She lived in Mexico for 18 years and speaks fluent Spanish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're still new to CoachSurfing, hosted a family a couple of times, and LOVED IT. Now that we've hosted, we want to try Surfing.

Still newbies, but getting into it.

We LOVE traveling, meeting people, and learning everything. We are working toward living on boats, possibly one that we build ourselves. We plan to motor yacht the Great Loop - around the Great lakes, down the Mississippi, across the Gulf, up the East Coast. That might take a couple of years. Then, we'll trade that boat for a sail catamaran and tour the Caribbean for another couple of years. Life is beautiful, so enjoy it to the fullest!

Intriguing movies like "The Thomas Crown Affair", futuristic like "Bicentennial Man", and sci-fi like "Total Recall". Music ranges from classical to electronic trance, especially the great orchestral film scores by James Horner, Michael Nyman, even John Williams.

Every sunrise is awesome! Every nightfall intriguing. Beaches, oceans, islands, cities, towns, neighborhoods, and vast open spaces are all fascinating.

We love the area where we live and can show you the sites and history. The restaurants are excellent, and the craft beers better than excellent.
