About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm an independent, intelligent guy who is very easy to get along with and is very good at adapting to new situations. I love "just going for it" and not knowing exactly what is coming next.

Interests

I love just spending time in nature, whether I'm going an a camping/hiking trip that takes the whole weekend or just taking a slow walk through a park. I enjoy the silence of nature and the breathtaking beauty of being able to see miles and miles when you've found an awesome viewpoint.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I went snowboarding in Colorado was an amazing experience. Before I left home for school in Denver, I lived in Los Angeles and only occasionally visited the surrounding mountains. Never had I been to the top of a mountain range, and when I got to the top of a Colorado mountain in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, the view almost made me want to just sit at the peak for a while instead of shred my way down.
My favorite concert I went to was a Phil Lesh and Friends show at the First Bank Center in Colorado. Before that concert, I had only been to rap shows and electronic shows (which were great, but this one blew them out of the water). At previous concerts, if I started to dance like you were really feeling the music, I'd find myself bumping into people who were just knotting their heads and looking at me like I was a fool. At this concert, when I started to dance, I was completely surrounded by people who were getting into the groove just as hard if not harder than me. As the show went on and I circulated throughout the venue, I was pleased to see the whole crowd was behaving the same way. I couldn't help but have a smile on my face just thinking of all the people having the time of their lives all around me.
Anytime I go mountain biking, I can't help but feel awestruck when I've reached the peak of the trail I'm ascending. I try to choose trails that aren't circular; I choose the ones that you go up where you will come down, so when I get to the top, I can't help but feel great about the time I'm going to have racing down.
