ABOUT ME

At this point in my life I'm in a constant state of discovery and flux. I'm a student of the social sciences, and am particularly interested in social and cultural anthropology. I am an active participant in my community, service learning, and student activism. I guess I'm still an idyllic person; I believe music has the power to connect all of humanity in a beautiful way. My life has a general direction, but I'm still figuring out what I'm best suited for. I like try to retain some unpredictability while trying to be a responsible college adult.

Live music, travel, community involvement, activism, local bars, thrifting, fitness, and a life spent learning.

I think I most enjoy listening to and becoming apart of someone's life, even if for a moment.

I like a multiplicity of bands like Nada Surf, Rage Against the Machine, Active Child, Phoenix, Athlete, La Rocca, Daysleepers, Le Tigre, Low vs. Diamond, Smashing Pumpkins, All Time Low, Sonic Youth, Silversun Pickups, Jack's Mannequin, City & Color, The Get Up Kids, M83, Chad Valley, Starfucker, TV On The Radio, Animal Collective, Angels and Airwaves, Billie Holiday, Sleigh Bells, Tune-Yards, Cornershop, Snow Patrol, or Empire of the Sun - to name a short few.

As for literature, I like Heart of Darkness, This Side of Paradise, The Great Gatsby, and Merchant of Venice to name a few. I spend most of my time on academic reading these days.
