I'm a tall man in a low land to borrow the title of Harry Pearson's book about Belgium. I moved here primarily because I met a Flemish girl while visiting Poland. I've now been here 4 years, wrestling with the language, trying to comprehend the Flemish and become a "proper" European.
I basically joined here to see what opportunities it would present. I met someone in a bar who was talking about this website, and it seemed like an interesting avenue to meet new people, have interesting experiences and show some people around a city that I've come to love.

I like to travel, attend concerts, read broadly, do Judo, watch combat sports, watch rugby, make pitiful attempts to learn other languages, cook, walk, laugh etc.
