Hello! My name is William, I am 28 years old and currently doing a master degree in Latin American Studies at the Latin American Institut at the Freie Universität Berlin. I am originally from a mining town called Rouyn-Noranda in Northern Quebec, Canada.

I love language learning, having lived in Mexico two years and Germany three in part to me majoring in Spanish and minoring in German. I have also been studying Portuguese and Polish for the past two years! In March 2022 I will be going to Rio de Janeiro as an exchange student, I can't wait.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to meet new people as curious as I am! I want to travel to Poland for the month of November and maybe December since I have a free semester ahead of me. My goal is to meet Polish people through which I can see und understand the local culture.

I've been learning the language for about two years now and I'm looking forward to have the opportunity to improve it. Also giving back what I already know!

I always try to learn something out of something... Reading takes a huge part of my life.

I was brought up with sports in my household such as hockey and golf, but now I'm more into swimming and jogging.

Meeting new people is also really important aswell.
