About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Cultural Intercourse. Don't you love my anthropological humor?

ABOUT ME

As an undergrad I attended UC Berkeley, where I majored in French and Anthropology, two disciplines that taught me the value of alcohol and diversity. But mostly diversity. I speak a couple of langauges and can curse in a couple more. Now I'm a grad student at Princeton, where I pontificate. Because, really, what else does one do at Princeton?

I like television, movies, and the occasional poem. I like to think of myself as a tormented writer, but some people would refute that. To them I say... well, something in a foreign language.

I'll have to flesh this out more later. Just know this: if it's foreign, I probably like it.

PHILOSOPHY

If it's squishy, I don't touch it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got started with CS because I need a place to crash in Princeton when I visited. The next thing you know I was hosting a pair of Germans in Oakland, and then a Polish couple in Princeton. It's been a blast getting to know new and interesting people, so definitely send me a message if you'd like to stay with me or grab a cup of coffee. Extra points if you have a dysfunctional relationship with TV.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted three times so far, and it's been great! Germans, Poles, and one Indian :).

This summer (2011), I was able to have very first surfing experience when I visited my Polish friends (and fellow CSers) Pawel and Dominika in Worclaw, Poland. It was incredible to see them again and to just have such a great time in Worclaw. We attended a film festival, went to a great club, and drank the most delicious honey wine ever!
