I am a friendly fellow, a musician and nature enthusiast. I teach piano and guitar in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I play with a few groups in that area. I tend to be quite busy, riding bicycles and cooking with friends and going to late-night movies and shows. I love camping, whether it be car-camping, road-tripping, back-packing, or bike-touring. I love to write, to run, to read, to tell stories, to experience new things. I love to jump into the ocean!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am already on Warmshowers as both host and guest, and I thought it might be a neat idea to get on Couchsurfing as well, since I love traveling and meeting new people. When I am at home, I have a fair amount of room considering that I live in the SF Bay Area, so I like to share it. As long as you aren't allergic to cats!

Most of the things under the list of my "interests" can be shared or taught. I am always happy to learn new things. I very much enjoy bartering rather than mucking about with currency.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a compelling teacher, and can teach piano, guitar, ukulele, a little banjo and mandolin. I've also tutored math and science if that's something you're interested in. I am a good cook and I enjoy doing chores. I am good with mind and body work if you have any aches or pains. I am a strong kid and can move your couch for you! And I'll take your dog for a walk or weed your garden.
