Avid host and surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed from China to Moscow via Mongolia on the trans-Siberia railway. Had an amazing time couchsurfing at an argo-turismo outside of Florence. Hosted a bunch in Washington DC.

兴趣

I work as a community organizer for a global network of environmental journalists and a local free school in Washington DC. Other than that, I built a patio a couple weeks ago and I like dirt.

Slept on the floor of a monastery in Tibet, lived in a cultural revolution era apartment in Xi'an, backpacked around the tallest trees in the world in Northern California.... and hopefully more with the help of all the couch surfers of the world.

I can share my skills in the kitchen. I have taught classes in map making and salad philosophy. I also love word histories and clever phrases. I am interested in learning about what inspires and informs people.
