Both my wife and me are teachers. Trying to make a difference. (who isn't?)
We're preparing life's next step...

(which has happened in the meantime: we have a beautiful little girl!)

PHILOSOPHY

As teachers we've got some (or a lot?) spare time. In our philosophy this time needs to be filled in with the 'good life'. Meaning: spend it with people we love en enjoy little things in life as much as possible. A serious talk, acting foolishly, a drink and a nice meal, enjoying nature, sports,...
We're really open minded in many different ways.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had the most intens experience with the best guests we could imagine. This made our lives richer. We enjoyed talking and sharing each other way of life. We like people who are really themselves and like to be silly and humouristic, but on the other hand who like to have a serious talk.

We're teachers ourselves. I'm a teacher in Dutch, religious education and English and my wife teaches Dutch, geography and history.
To learn from other cultures enriches our own lives, that's for sure.
