CURRENT MISSION

To see and experience as much of Central and South America as possible. I will be riding my motorcycle and plan on taking as many un beaten paths as possible. Mountain passes, rural roads and other places to camp. It would be nice to meet some people!

ABOUT ME

I am on a personal journey for quite a few reasons. I have a goal to farm and remove myself from this rat race that has been created in North America, I want to experience a different way of life and live as simply as possible. I would love to farm and grow food, and do more trading and self sustaining than is usually available in a capitalistic society like Canada or the USA. I'm hoping in my travels to learn more about farming further south, and the differences in Climate etc... I write Poetry / Hip Hop music, and enjoy viewing the world from as many objective angles as possible. I have never really travelled much and am also hoping to experience what life is like away from north america.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every day is a chance to progress, and learning from every experience that you have, whether negative or positive is a must. I am of the mind set that, the more positive we put out, the more we attract, and so I try to be the best person I can every day, and maintain a happy balance with my personal moods and emotions. I would like to give to the earth as I have grown tired of destroying my home. I have made a personal pledge to buy as little plastic packaging as possible for the last 4 years. I have gotten to a point where I buy almost zero food products packaged in plastic, and would like to see what other countries have to offer in a plastic free food lifestyle. I have the utmost respect for the planet I come from and want nothing more than to try and heal it and work symbiotically with it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Last year I volunteered on an organic farm in trade for the experience and food and shelter. I had a great time but learned that there is much more to learn especially from different climates and ecologies. My goal in life is to find some land to farm and practice permaculture and become part of a community in which I can feed myself and hopefully my neighbours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely inexperienced as I have not really travelled before, this is the trip of a life time and I have many hopes of taking in a lot of information.

In my home province of BC Canada, I have ridden my motorcycle to and through some amazing mountain passes, but am still fairly new to this adventure style and am excited to see and learn more.

I have always had a passion for using words, and have written some poetry, but mostly enjoy freestyling. I do it mostly in a hiphop style, but have been known to jam out over acoustic guitars etc...

I am a cook and have been at various points in my life and have some knowledge in cooking, but would love to learn more and share what I do know. The local styles of cuisine are very intriguing to me. I have been trying to learn more about foraging and eating foods that aren't cultivated, and would love someone to show more more.

I love to sit and philosophize or theorize on how the world goes round and what influences are at play.
