Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're signing up because my fiance and I are about to embark on a year-long trip to Southeast Asia and New Zealand and undoubtably need a friendly face and helpful tips along the way. We unfortunately can't host since we rent at the moment and have no space. Later, when we get settled and get the house and white picket fence we would love to try be a couch for the weary traveller.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much "official" couch surfing but have stayed with many friends on their couches/floors :) So, A+ for experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed most of the millions of steps in Huashan Mountian, China.
Lived and taught in Shanghai
Survived Vegas :)
Canoed for 2 summers with the Tim Horton's Camp leadership program
Ran in -30 degree weather just to save on gym membership
Peed next to lions and ran around barefoot in Kenya for the first seven years of my life. Only got Rabie shots twice.
Surfed in Costa Rica where I saw my first Sloth
Scooped iceburgs out of Berg Lake by Mount Robson, BC and used it to chill our drinks
Finding beautiful nature in Fort McMurray
Being the star of a show that was aired for 3 years after on Canadian National television and not making a fool of myself while doing it :)
