About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get into couch surfing, out do what I did yesterday

ABOUT ME

I'm 29, I get up to a few things; I run a business in london that provides workspaces for start ups. I moonlight as an events organiser putting on parties across the UK and Europe. I also dj the odd party or host stages at festivals.

I love to climb, sail and cycle. When not doing any of those I perform allot of spoken word poetry and write stories.

I love the way that you can see the real side of a place you visit from couch surfing. I haven't gone back to hostels or hotels since.

I would describe myself as easy to get on with, outgoing and respectful. I'm always up for new experiences and opportunities. I love random holidays; I once hitch hiked to Morocco for charity with a bottle of rum and the clothes I was wearing.

If you let me stay I'll cook you dinner!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host people when i lived in edinburgh but have since moved to smaller places. I now live in London and can happily meet anyone visiting for a drink. I'd say i'm pretty good at routing out good nightlife so drop me a line if you want company/ideas for a busy evening out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some people and met my best mate in Edinburgh through CS so I rate it highly. Haven't stayed with anyone outside the UK but there's a first time for everything.

When hitch hiking to Morocco I slept in the back of a lorry carrying 5 tonnes of pillows, that was pretty comfortable.

Interests

live music, reading, writing. I used to own a 20ft sailing yacht; that was fun. I put on parties a lot in clubs or otherwise.

I'm also ok at cooking (I would say I'm really good but i used to live with a french chef; she was better!).

I'm also a bit of a geek and love to play chess when time allows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 2 weeks living with Nomads in Mongolia. It was unreal, i got the train there too; 8 weeks without a conversation in English when you speak no Russian or Mongolian was tough but eye opening....
